Earth’s Christmas tale

Warmer than the heavy coats that shield us against the cold winter snow,
Far older than the ancient myth that is cupid’s bow and arrow,
More intense than the fires that turn blackish ore into glistening gold,
Is the truth of God’s love for us, revealed in a story we’ve always been told,
How that salvation’s heart did beat within the confines of a virgin’s womb.

Mighty indeed was Salvation’s glorious entrance, such that the voices of Angels broke open the silent night skies,
Rejoicing and declaring glad tidings to humble shepherds who still couldn’t believe their eyes.

With much haste did these men run towards the place prophecy was said to be fulfilled,
And in awe did their knees hit the ground when they saw whom the prophets had foretold,
“But how could it be?” They did question.
Man’s Redemption? Sin’s defeat and Death’s destruction? Wrapped in swaddling clothes?
The One who was written about in the Books of Prophecies and the Psalms?
God’s eternal present to man? Now carefully gift-wrapped in a virgin’s loving arms? Oh, how the Father’s wisdom always confounds them who claim to be wise.
And so, worship escaped their quivering lips, Completely lost in awe of God’s wisdom, such that they forgot about their grazing sheep.

To this day, we reckon this account to be nothing but true,
And not a day goes by, where we would fail to tell the world, that this was all for you.
Divinity lived with us, died for us, rose with us, and now lives in us, because He loves you.

Remember this and be joyful,
Reflect on this and be full of hope, Salvation came for you and me, And that’s definitely something to shout about.

From all of us at the Penthouse, we wish you a very merry Christmas, and a happy new year in advance❤❤❤❤
